Course Overview
This course will help you become aware of the potential hazards related to working in hot environments. Additionally, we will discuss the requirements of a heat-related program, types of heat-related illnesses, how to recognize the signs and symptoms, first aid treatment and emergency response, identifying the hazards, exposure limits, how to prevent heat-related illnesses through engineering controls and administrative practices, and a medical monitoring program.
This course will help create a greater awareness of the hazards that are present when working in extreme conditions and to inform employees about the precautions they should take to help ensure their health and safety.
